[Hatch] Monster (COMIC Aun 2014-03)

Please don't cheat.

Second one of this double Hatch release. I found this one quite a bit ago, when I was skimming through some issues of Comic Aun. I was enthralled by the fingering scene and I couldn't understand half of the story. Then I put it in a mental drawer for a later time.

I might have a thing for F/d incest, and I might have a thing for time skips. I know for sure I've got a thing for Hatch.

He also did an afterword for this story in the tank:

First one of this double Hatch release. I came across this one when I was binge-reading the entire Hatch catalog. What a night that was. This one stuck out to me more than anything else.

Hatch is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists, but he has a thing for long expositions. This means long-ass sentences that I have to process for spans of up to two hours. Not kidding a bit. I'm sure I'll be doing something from him in the future, but not before I level up my moonspeak skills.

He did an afterword for this story in the tank:

半年前までは普通に話できたのに

I've got an old relative who has Alzheimer's.

Up until half a year ago, I could talk with her like normal,

but when I met her again after a while, she didn't remember about me at all... Boy was that a shock right then...

I tried to make this a heartfelt (せつない) manga,

but the pigeon scene at the end reminded me of John Woo

so I ended up laughing while drawing it (haha).

I enjoyed this one quite a lot, so I did a somewhat literal translation of it just to know what was going on.

I doubt I'll ever be editing this one. I mean come on, the dialogue is all drawn by hand, and almost none of the lines are inside a balloon. Who the hell would take that job.

[Katagiri Hinoka] Shoujo Club (L-Matrix)

Sorry, only the tall one gets some.

Another one where I picked the artist first and then the chapter. I like Katagiri Hinoka's style in this tank. His newer works are good too, but feel kinda... generic.

I actually considered doing Dorei Shoujo first (here or here), but in the middle of translating I noticed the dialogue was bland as hell.

I then went for this one because it was short and fun. Or at least it was until I had to translate it. I had trouble in one line that used a made-up word (I think) and another one that (it seems) was a pop-culture reference.

So yeah, I don't think I'll do something from this tank again, sorry.

I did this one because I laughed my ass off at that ending. That's it.

I mean, I like Ken's stories, and I read all of his tanks (yeah I did), but none of the stories were particularly hot. Most are weird and there's plenty of interesting ones, but not enough to translate, I guess. He's got some speechless stories too, if you might.

A mild one for a change.

Saeki Takao is also an artist that's dear to me. I was saddened to see that the last translation of something by him (besides that Shinobu doujin) was from 2009.

So I looked into all of his untranslated tanks to find something neat to translate. This was one of the tamer ones (by a landslide), and also pretty ridiculous, then why not.

I did a first version with the tank scans, without knowing that the magazine scans for the same story had better color, and were larger. After crying for an hour I sucked it up and re-did the thing.

I love ro. Especially his tank, Loliman Complex. When I was reading it I found this story and thought "this is horrible. I have to translate it."

My first translation.

I just browsed through Otto117's uploads and picked something short, easy and that would have never gotten a translation.

So yeah. I couldn't translate the title. I guess it's some wordplay with 遣られる (yarareru) since it can mean both "deceive" and "fuck" (is it though?). I guess "screwing a little girl" would have been fine. Oh well.
