First one of this double Hatch release. I came across this one when I was binge-reading the entire Hatch catalog. What a night that was. This one stuck out to me more than anything else.

Hatch is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists, but he has a thing for long expositions. This means long-ass sentences that I have to process for spans of up to two hours. Not kidding a bit. I'm sure I'll be doing something from him in the future, but not before I level up my moonspeak skills.

He did an afterword for this story in the tank:

I've got an old relative who has Alzheimer's.

Up until half a year ago, I could talk with her like normal,

but when I met her again after a while, she didn't remember about me at all... Boy was that a shock right then...

I tried to make this a heartfelt (せつない) manga,

but the pigeon scene at the end reminded me of John Woo

so I ended up laughing while drawing it (haha).
